Lauren + Jay

Lauren and Jay were a true joy to work with! They are such a fun couple and every element of their wedding day echoed their fun-loving spirit. They chose the Hobbs Building for both their ceremony and reception. Located in the West Bottoms neighborhood of Kansas City, the Hobbs Building provided an urban backdrop full of rustic character. The patio was tented creating an intimate ceremony site lit to perfection by candlelight. The intimate atmosphere was carried into the indoor reception with candles placed everywhere including the gorgeous centerpieces created by Blue Bouquet.



Feasts of Fancy served a fabulous menu...as always. Baby Cakes created a towering cupcake display almost too pretty to eat. Atlantic Express kept the dance floor full. And a big thank you to the team at Photo Mementos who captured all the moments from the day and were kind enough to share their beautiful images with us. As consultants we are always coordinating behind the scenes so it is rare for us to get in front of the camera. When I found this shot of consultants Holly and Lindsay I just had to include it! Here they are taking a quick break from all the action. They did a great job working with Lauren and Jay giving us reason to be proud of our fabulous team at Simple Elegance.
