Final Class at Monica's for 2011

So this is it, my final class for 2011 to be held at Monica's Quilt & Bead Creations in Palm Desert. The "Silver Sampler" bracelet is a full-day workshop taking place tomorrow from 10 am to 4 pm. We will cover a whole bunch of techniques and learn several wire links and bead wraps that can be used in various jewelry pieces such as necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and the like.
With silver at over $36 a troy ounce (today), I suggest making your bracelet with dead-soft copper wire or something similar. I'm bringing only copper wire to teach my class. No beads required... although you could use some in your bracelet if you'd like to.
In class, we'll make:
Coil-wrapped beads
Double-coil wrapped beads
Heart links
Hook & eye clasp
Jump rings
Pendant dependent links
Worm beads
Double-spiral links
Eye-pins
In short, all the fundamentals of wire jewelry 101 will be covered in detail! I hope you like the workshop. To access the supply list, click here.
To register for the class, call Monica's at 760-772-2400.
Happy wrapping,
