Purple Rain

Whenever I see purple clothing that I find cute I'm always hesitant about it. Should I get it? Does purple look good on me?...etc,. It's a hard color to wear... or at least for me anyway. I can't help but think of Prince when I pull this dress out. Not only is it purple, it's also silk with polka dots, and a bit vintage 1980s looking too. I kind of feel silly wearing it, but I also really like it. It's also the only purple dress I own so I guess there's a first time for everything! True story, it started to rain as I was taking these photos. Purple rain indeed.
