A Big Thank You!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, ThreeSisterz for my very first blog award!!

I am so honored that I was even on your radar to be considered!

It's a lovely thing to have a select group of blogs you turn to daily.  You know the ones.  They make you feel like every time you turn on your computer Christmas has arrived.  And as you unwrap your gift, the anticipation overwhelms you as to what could be inside.  At least that's how it is with me and these next 3 ladies.  You never know what you are about to find when you visit.  Will it be a new tutorial, a beautiful picture, a delicious recipe, or maybe a glimpse into their family and traditions.  Their writing is simple, yet captivating.  Their creativity is innate and evident in everything they do.  Perhaps unaware, they have set out to share ideas, but what they have really done is so much more than that.  They inspire.  And when you inspire someone you break through the pretenses and facades and awaken the spirit.  It's a tall order, the work of inspiring, but these ladies do it well.  Thank you.

This award is like a "pay it forward" kind of thing.  So if you get it, here's what you do:

--Thank and link back to the person who gave you the award
--Award 3 deserving Bloggers and share how they inspire you
--Contact these bloggers and tell them about the award

Here are my top 3 inspiring blogs.

1.  Made.  Dana oozes creativity.  You could spend hours in her tutorial section alone planning out your project list for the year.  Check out her home improvement section and you too will see that her sense of style and design is impeccable.  She's truly an inspiration.

2.  A Lemon Squeezy Home.  Christie is brilliant.  Everything she touches turns cute, and she has such a knack for creating amazing things out of scraps of fabric, one of my favorites being her hand sanatizer holders.  Seriously.  You must be talented to make, much less think that up.

3.  See Kate Sew.  I love this blog.  The two words that come to mind when looking at it are simple and classy.  As you puruse her posts you will instantly feel that you too can sew, no matter what your level.  She'll show you how to make everything from cloth diaper inserts (thank you!) to the most adorable toy camera for your little one.  And it's not all sewing - Kate will show you how to transform an old pair of shoes like nobody's business.

So, on behalf of the many, many others you inspire - thank you ladies!  To everyone else, you definitely want to check these blogs out - they're garaunteed to make you fall in blove.

Tune in tomorrow for Fashionista Friday!
