When interior designer Marie-Laure Helmkampf found an old oil mill in the South of France she was smitten. Though most of the original structure had to be rebuilt completely, Marie-Laure managed to retain a lot of the original character & charm. The rusticity of the traditional stone work, the exposed natural wood, & organic textures mixed with sleek modern lines, and abundance of natural light have resulted in a warm, inviting and relaxed home.
