Romantic Bedrooms Design 2011

Rich Romantic
For a really luxuries looking room, don’t go for fancy furniture with a flamboyant design. Instead, pick classic in a warm dark wood teak and create richness through the use of different textures. Fabric plays a vital role in this scheme, so you can go wild with jamavars silks, organzas and satins. Mix and match different fabric in toning colours for the curtains and bedcovers, add a soft rug, and if you can go for a four poster bed adorned with light organza curtains there’s nothing like it for all out romantic luxury. Lighting is important too so be sure to place pretty lamps around the room.

Clean & Serene Bedroom Design 2011

Clean & Serene
Shades of white and cream are ideal for bad room because of their soothing nature. Pick a classy wrought iron bed in silver, and tile the floor in a stone effect tile for natural look. When it comes to bedding and curtain keep it simple- white cotton will look crisp and neat, and you can always add a couple of lacy pillow or cushions for style. An oversize mirror on the wall is a good idea as this will reflect the light. This theme is ideal for smaller rooms, as the open lattice effect of the furniture and the light colour make the room seem larger.

Urban Bedroom Design 2011

Urban Monochrome
This kind of style is very modern and minimalist, with the drama being created through the use of stark shades. Black and white always looks good together, but using grey for the upholstery or bedding can soften the look slightly. Pick sleek furniture with simple line, but avoid painting the walls in dark colour as this can be very oppressive in the hot weather. Funky accessory in brushed aluminum or dull silver look great in this kind of décor, and if you feel the look is a little too masculine for you you can always brighten it up with some vibrant red accessories like lamp, throw cushion or rugs.
