inspiration: celebrity Weddings

Kim Kardashian, and her NBA hubby Kris Humphries recently tied the knot in Montecito, California. The two had a white and black wedding theme, that was incorporated in all the wedding details and decor. With the bridesmaids dressed in all white, seen before by Pippa Middleton, Kim's glamorous and chic fairytale wedding is quickly being compared to that of the Royal Wedding. I love her "princess" Vera Wang wedding dress and the elegant black and white cake. What do you think? Is black and white a color trend for you? How do you feel about bridesmaids wearing all white? I'm not sure if it takes too much away from the bride. Do you feel now a days there are a lot of situations that are taking away the attention from the bride and groom? For example, the white dress attire being worn by guests and now bridesmaids, other family members requesting their own solo dances with the bride and groom, and even having others help with the cutting of the cake?! What do you guys think, is it a free for all now? Is there nothing left that is sacred and special just for the bride and groom???
