without going over-the-top

i've been loving bold red lips lately (as you can also see HERE; my favorite shade is 'Passion by Chanel'. I feel that red lips add the perfect touch of glam to an otherwise casual look without going over-the-top.

The trick to doing bold lips is to keep the rest of your make up soft and understated; some winged eye-liner in black/brown and light blush on the cheeks, and you're good to go!
